  • This was a great interview. Most questions coming from sports interviewers are really daft. This guy did his homework and combined it with empathy for Joe.

  • George is a great guy !!

  • George Foreman is just the nicest guy. He is saying here and also in another interview on youtube that Frazier and Ali were the greatest. George you forgot one of the very greatest boxers - U2 George!

  • Foreman is an great example of the "American dream" He started at the bottom & remains at the top....A true story of amazing faith!

  • George is a great man. I respect how he gave Frazier his respect and just due!!!!

  • @vladiator100 True, look at tyson,25 yrs old,he was already shot!I think foreman was overrated and a total fraud in his comeback,I saw dwight braxton back him up in the 7ht round, tyson would have annihalated him.foreman lost to a blown up light heavyweight, ducked ruddock, ducked bowe, wanted a shootout with an already mentally shot tyson, couldnt ko chicken stewart and savarese who tyson ko'd both first rounds! lost to morrison and paid off moorrer to take a last round dive.

  • @MrJoelouisbarrow:

I think that if you box at the proper weight division, then the body will endure better. I remember when Luisito Espinosa was a bantamweight. He seemed to have a very fragile chin, but when he moved up to featherweight, he seemed to become more durable. Part of it was the fact that he was unnaturally light at bantamweight. He also boxed more efficiently at featherweight too, defending himself better.

  • @cousinwes1 chin is chin you cant train it

  • @cousinwes1 His chin did not improve with the years. He always could take a punch pretty well, and recooperate from it. If the older Ali can take it, the young one can too, but the thing you seem to forget is that Ali fought Liston. George said Liston was the only one who could back him up (in sparring), because of his crazy power. Ali could dance 15 rounds, and take a punch at the same time. I don't know if he would knock him out, but I think he'd humiliate him on points.

  • @cousinwes1 to say the younger or the older ali was the best is not realistic, both combined over the corse of his carear is what made him the best, he may have lost a little speed, but he was the fastest anyway, but he gained in other areas.

  • @cousinwes1 foreman was the best in history at cutting the ring down, boxing a fighter in and pounding them out, he was much better than this then even an old liston. apart from the lack of sparing, it was the combination of supreme tactics, loose ropes and inhuman willingness and ability to take punishment that allowed him to beat george, a younger ali would have got cornered and hammered.

He would of lost the third frazier fight as well, look what cooper did to a young ali when connected...

  • @michaelyouth I have to say i partly agree with what you are saying, it is disputable how ever whether he was better before or after, yes it is true he lost a little speed..not much he was still faster than everyone else way into his mid thirties, but he gained other things..namely power, punch resistance and experience. he also employed tactics to greater effect, the younger ali would not have been able to take the punches of foreman, and no he would be able to dance around him either.
