This song actually describes Vanitas very well. He was born a fragile young boy who didn't know what would happen to him and was frightened and lonely. Xehanort corrupted him and he became one of the best antagonists in the series, as well as my favorite character.

Oh also, personally I would like if Nomura would bring him back to the game. He is a great developed character that deserves to stay in more than one game. But too bad Nomura chose Xeohnart to be in Dream Drop Distance and continue his reign of evil.

Vanitas is not very well likely to be a villan if you have read his backstory. He just wanted to stop the pain and in the process he ended up with a cruel personalty. He would cry of the pain sometimes when he killed the Unversed before BBS started. The killing of the Unversed caused him pain. Now how do you feel about getting the Keyslinger trophy?

Vanitas is hands down one of the best villains in Kingdom Hearts. He's powerful, he actually knows what he's doing, he keeps things short and to the point (unlike how drawn out and corny a lot of the Disney villains are), but his best quality is his talent for getting under your skin just to piss you off. And in doing that he can bring out your insecurities and get you to do whatever it is he wants you to. Tetsuya Nomura, my hat's off to you for this fantastic addition to the series.
