A swimming mayfly we found while sampling benthic invertebrates.
**Update 10/28/10: This video was shot about four or five years ago, when I was an undergrad and only interested in Herpetology, for the most part. I also knew nothing about photography or videography, so I'm kicking myself for how bad a job I did here. Unfortunately I no longer know what family this was, but my best guess is Ephemeridae. I am now working on a stream ecology project that was inspired by the salamanders living there, but I spend more of my time surveying the fish and invertebrates. I'm also quite interested in photography and recently was re-inspired to do video work as well - if only I could go back and do it over!**

I would like to see the subject in focus. Try manual focus and a tripod to improve footage.
