from 1977's ST debut

Yesterday feels like running away
Feels like givin' the child gettin' lost losin' my mind
I'm feelin' low and I got no place to go
Gettin' all tied up, feelin' all tied up yeah yeah
Oh yesterday feels like running away
And I know, I'm givin' up my time to still love still love love's got me blind
My mind sees the things I don't know and I got no place to go
Gettin' all tied up, feelin' all tied up
Things I need to tell you love
You'll be true I know
There's still a chance for a better life
Yes, I know

  • @TheRealDezCruel

stp bein no it all nubblet

  • you are incorrect sir...this is an 8 string..Tom had the 12 WAY before Heaven Tonight..just type in "Old Grey Whistle Stop,Cheap Trick" where he can be seen playing the 12 string live on TV in ..wait for it...1977!!!!

  • Tom played a 4-string on the first record.

  • @oreste1100 4 string. It's a Gibson Thunderbird. He was still developing the 12...his first was an Alembic. He used that on the 'Heaven Tonight' album.

  • @oreste1100 Tom didn't start using the 12 until the 'Heaven Tonight' album...this is a Gibson Thunderbird bass...

  • love the opening guitar to this song...

  • I am just now have been listening to the older CT, before '78, such as this LP. I am blown away! I never knew how great their previous recordings where, when I listened to them in the late '70's!! Maybe, I was too young and too broke (age 19), to realize this! I am now thankful for You Tube, that I can "discover" these treasures!! Thank you for posting!

  • Cheep Trick took Terry Reid's song and drove it out of the park. I'm glad Cheep Trick made it to the big time. They deserved it.

  • @oreste1100 nah its a 12 string

  • Bun E. Carlos lo parte aquí!
