Thai Buddhistforeningen Trondheim (www.t-b-t.no and www.thaibuddhistforeningentrondheim.no)

The Thai Buddhistforeningen Trondheim was established in 1990. It's goal it to gather all people of Thai origin in the Trondheim area. The aim is to worship and practice Buddhist religion, promote Thai culture, have dialog with Norwegian authorities and the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, protect the interest of members and enlighten future generations.

Thai Buddhistforeningen Trondheim ble etablert i 1990. Målet med organisasjonen er å samle alle thailendere i Trondheimsområdet. Dyrke og utøve den buddhistiske religion, fremme den thailandske kulturen og forestå kulturelle aktiviteter innenfor thailandsk tradisjoner, opprettholde kontakt med norske myndigheter og den thailandske ambassade, ivareta medlemmenes interesser og legge til rette for nye generasjoner.

มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือเป็นศูนย์กลางของคนไทยที่พักอาศัยอยู่บริเวณรอบๆทรอนแฮม ได้ปฏิบัติพุทธศาสนารวมถึงการอนุรักษ์และส่งเสริมสืบสานวัฒนธรรมประเพณีไทยให้แก่คนร­ุ่นใหม่ โดยการทำงานร่วมกับทางภาครัฐของประเทศนอร์เวย์และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทยในประเทศนอร์เ­วย์ เพื่อประโยชน์สูงสุดของสมาชิกสมาคมฯ
