And does the machine support 600 page books?

600 pages is too much for the SimpleBind. I've bound many 300-page books, which is realistically near the limit of the device.

I use different sorts of paper for different purposes. For certain books, I use 24lb. laser paper. For my Atomic Monster books I actually cut down art paper pads (similar to newsprint). It gives the novellas a nice, pulpy feel.
