I think this is an amazing statement. If you don't like Marilyn, I mean, everyone's allowed to have their own opinion, are they not? To me, he was one of the only people that ever told me that it's okay to be dark and covered in everything you hate about yourself, that it's okay, that you're not a monster for being not perfect, not generally 'acceptable', that the people who call you names and bully you don't matter. All he's ever wanted to do is tell people to be themselves.
