This is cool, but aside from the face in the beginning, it doesn't seem like stop motion to me. Looks more like traditional 2d animation shot in 2s and 3s, with a negative filter on it. But its hard to be sure cause there are so many layers.

I remember watching this at your senior recital and being impressed at how vivid the animation is. I've been a fan of this sort of abstract weirdness since reading Dr. Strange comics as a kid and it was because of this animation in particular that I thought of you when I came up with an animation concept for Kyle's 'More than I can say'.
I dig it!
