Training around Europe can be daunting if you've never done it before but is really quite easy. Buy your tickets in advance through Rail Europe, off websites (not all European websites will sell tickets on-line to Americans) or once you are there. There is usually a train agent that speaks several languages.

This video will give you an idea of what's involved. For detailed information, visit Amazon Kindle or TravelsWithSheila to purchase Travels With Sheila's Train Guide.

Enjoy the unique sights in Europe while relaxing on a train. That's what we do...

  • ! Very informative. I really like how they have the set up of the train before it gets their so you know what car is what.

  • The trains system in Europe is just so nice, isn't it Sheila? Although it did take me some time to understand that "hbf" stood for hauptbahnhof and was the central train station of a city. Great report!
