  • @Z28ChevySB Correction* aren't that thin

  • @Z28ChevySB So quite often, I find people like this guy or at car shows/drag strips. Heck at a good guys i went to last summer, some guy had an 03 Cobra body with an ls7. You might think a ford motor might last longer cause its walls aren't that thick, but I'd say thats all on the owner/driver. I own a 97 z, lt1, so I'm not a good example for this but my best friend has a 2002 z w/an ls1 and 203,000 on the odo. He's not one for cruising easy either. It depends.

  • @Texarmageddon K, I understand what you're saying...this guy one shot is just being a little troll on here. But in truth, a modular motor needs to be built, not saying put a blower/turbo/or NOS but like minor bolt ons, to match or overcome the power of some stock ls engines. Modulars have a killer noise and are quite potent, don't get me wrong, but the advanced technology of ohc's play a part in choice, as well as the parts being somewhat more expensive than the ls part(depending on the type).

  • @Z28ChevySB You know why I don't like chevy people. Because you brag about N/A power with bolt ons.... Known fact.... FI will and always will be the cheapest way to gain it. With a good heads/cam package.. you'll be on the price of a turbo and you'll see what? 450hp or more depending on your choice... I love the sound of FI so doesn't bother me... Not trying to get at you personally... I'm just saying..

  • @oneshotkill324 Blown? Exactly what you need to do to keep up with bolt ons all motor GM and Chevy powered V8 vehicles. You're just a little fan boy too afraid to admit when he's wrong. Chevrolet or Ford, they're both American made so shut up and be happy.

  • A W E S O M E !!!!!!!!!!!1

  • should paint a little chev bow tie around the horses neck

  • @GiffinsPerformance and they are all poser pieces of poo.

  • Do you ever hear of any chevy guys putting a mustang 4.6 in a chevy? I dont think so. The 4.6's suck, they are only decent with a supercharger and a shit load of money!

  • I am a Ford guy but LS1 > 4.6 The 4.6 was the slowest motor for ever made and it takes a Supercharger to get them over 400whp. You can take an LS1 and put a cam, intake , headers and tune on it and be well over 400whp. LS1 motors came down from the sky. But I will say the new 5.0 motor came down from Heaven.
