Current Playing time: 11 days, level 55 of 4th Prestige
Kill/Death ratio 2.5'ish (27000/10800)
Headshot rate 1:7,5 (27000/3600)
In compilation #2 I don't use 'Stopping Power' as Perk2.
This means that close to medium range ONLY a headshot will kill instantly.
In this same range every 2 shots will kill.
Long range though (ideal scope length and further)
a headshot is not suffice. You need 2 high damage shots (headshot or high body). Or any 3 others.
With the Kar98K I use 'Double Tap' and 'Steady Aim'.
With these perks I do quick shooting, trying to get multiple hits instead of 1 headshot.
Doing this, I hardly use the sight, hence the steady aim.
Unless I want to make SURE the next shot will hit, then I'll aim at the center of the body.
This situations occurs when I already hit the opponent (once or twice dependant on range), and know that the next hit will kill, that is if I don't miss.
This requires a completely different playing style then what I use with the Mosin-Nagant.
Playing like this is great for back-ing up teammates. It works great finishing off opponents hit by teammates, or weaking opponents so that a teammate can finish him.
I use camera lock more and more, I do this by Pressing A (default controls).
Camera lock means that the camera won't move when you aim around the screen. This is very useful when you try shooting a moving target. Or when the target is still but you are moving yourself. Or if both are moving.
Shooting with the Mosin on medium to long range I would always advice to use the sight. It's accuracy is stunning.
In all the games I was host, not because you need this, but because it looks so much better.
Wii has easier crosshairs than other consoles. We don't have a dot in the middle, which makes it harder to no-scope.

@3DGiggity300 but you can also argue that the other consoles crosshairs are easier, because the center of these crosshairs will always be in the center off your screen. This makes timing your shots easier. The dot on the Wii is probably to compensate for this. The wii is harder anyways because you need a steady hand, and because graphics are bad ;) Good reflexes are rewarded on Wii though, because your crosshair is much more mobile.

Aw you are so good. I will never be that good. (Or if i play up to 4 prestige)
I have seen you play when this game first came out. You didn't kill that many :P

True, even now I don't always get a high score. I have a very low kills per minute rate (and therefore also deaths per minute). If my team is winning easily then I'm not playing extra offensive to hunt for score. I rather stay back supporting them and focus on not dying myself.
I have 29000 kills now with 12 days of playing time. While others in my friend list have more kills with half the playing time.
