Heh, thrown chips are no good until you get black bomb or seeds anyway. Due to the nature of thrown chips being common for setting up folder strategies, veteran battle network players tend to take all things thrown at them to the face. So minibombs are a fun mind game against human players.
Alternatively, you can just ignore the friggin' thing. Minibomb is even worse than airshot.
