@ryuhinomaru You are totally right and this is not just a nostalgia.
Nowadays cartoons dont have
1) badass opening that keep you listening for it over and over again. Almost every 80th cartoon had an opening that used a lot of animation work and cost lots of money.
2) crazy character design or just interesting unusual ideas that blow up kiddies minds. (may be Adventure Time tries to do so but stil,,)
3) Quality of animation. No cheap one. Just 50-70 episodes of hand-drawn epicness

Now this is good, and dvds available?

Not saying they dont work hard on it, i just mean that cartoons nowadays just dont have the same feel they used to have but i guess its just nostalgia.
-
@ryuhinomaru They still have to do it by hand regardless of wether it's traditional or digital. Just because they're in front of a computer screen instead of a peice of paper doesn't mean they don't work as hard or the process is any easier.

@jfreakofkorn They hardly draw at all anymore, all digital crap now.
Real cartoons are almost like a lost art.
-
That is very well drawn
-
@jfreakofkorn ur right, now its all just simple shaped people. Plus, this cartoon was made before computers got into animation so all this would of been hand drawn
-
nothing like going into battle with a cat on your lap

Yeah I had these toys too. They were like mini GI Joes with magnets on their feet. The spacecraft had magnets too.
They dont draw cartoons like they used to .... =/
