I would NEVER use a set like this. I mean, I personally haven't worn my hearing aids that much the past two years. (Which were 8th and 9th grade for me.) And since those years I had horrible grades, I agreed to get a pair of those Micro hearing aids. Which are small, but still somewhat visible (Small enough that people I don't want to have notice them can't see it, but I can still pull it out quick enough for an excuse to teachers.)
That's just me though. This might be good for others.
I tried digital hearing aids but they do not work for me because I grown up with analog hearing aids. I also cannot understand why advertisers and society in general has to brag about keeping your hearing problem a secret. I want people to notice my hearing problem. I don't want to hide it.
I've heard that the opportunity for an infection is greater when wearing this instrument, that doesn't come out, that the batteries do not average more than 3 months, and that over 3 or 4 years you could have spent $15,000 or more on a lyric subscription. I just can't see spending that kind of money on analog hearing aids when a nice set of digital aids YOU OWN cost way less than half of that.
