well in the 2010 California governors race, Meg Whitman outspent Jerry Brown big time, but Brown won. So money fortunately doesn't always win knock on wood

Michelle Bachmann got knocked outta the race, as did Rick Perry and Sarah Palin didn't even bother this time around.

RP is consistent; I'll give you that much. And his positions on some issues are novel. Compared to Gingrich and Romney he's definitely more intelligent but I have to question his overall intelligence when his economic policies are so misguided; he doesn't seem to understand how our monetary policy works. The other elephant in the room is: if Ron Paul can't even reform his own party's excesses what makes him think he can fix the nation from the White House?
