Delving into the nature of time sheds some light on our inability to account for the origin of the universe. What is time? Are we being propelled through it, or are we standing still while it flows through us? How would "God" experience time? Is eternity an endless stretch of time, or a single moment of infinite awareness?

  • I throughly enjoy watching this video over and over again, because it just clicks with me. I finally understand it.

To me, I always imagine one consciousness holding time in it's "hands" and watching it like a movie. It can fast forward, rewind and play it all at the same time.

  • @fellowtuber123 I think that's a great analogy.

  • The theory of the universe as a consciousness computer, I am aware of such philosophical argument, althoughI have not read a specific book upon this subject, I did once argue that the universe could be a quantum computer many years ago, I've also argued the existence of invisible space chickens, such things are highly speculative and hold no water

The LARGE HADRON COLLIDER is far more likely to hold real empirical data about time and space

  • Look, you've already made up your mind that I'm ignorant. Have a nice day.

  • E=MC2 matter is energy, energy is matter known and proved, known Albert Einstein Sep 1905, proven Nov 20, 2008 France's National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)

Thus thee original matter in the universe known and proved, now ure in a bit of a pickle :-)

Knowledge is Good, ignorance is Bad

Try reading science Books = good

  • There is so much more to this "pickle" that you don't appear to be taking into account. I recommend a brief look at quantum physics for a start, and at the theory of the universe as a consciousness computer.

  • time is nonexistent!

  • matter is nonexistent!!!

  • let me clarify: in the cristian sense of god.

  • i would say even god doesnt have free will!

  • (3 of 3) I have found that this is actually impossible to wrap the mind around, but there's no way to prove it wrong or to say that it cannot be. Any given moment (in our experience) can be the only moment that ever existed. This can be imagined as the entire universe being created anew trillions of times per second, but that's not actually what it would be. There is ONLY now. If something is not Now, then it never really was. We are created NOW, along with memories leading up to that Now.
