@SovereignStatesman : Any yet he has forgotten more about how to entertain the fan them most of the current 'coked-out' actors in Follywood will ever learn. If you are risk an investment of millions of dollars on a drug addict, might as well get the best for the job.

Hollywood isn't banging on his door because they already GOT enough coked up actors.
He could have made a good Western vigilante like Wyatt Earp, or a villain-- a lot better than the likes of Kevin Costner or Kurt Russel, or Clint Eastwood etc.
Unfortunately, pro wrestling attracts self-destructive people with no long-term goals; Rick Flair even said that Roddy was smarter than him for getting out of the business and going into film.
More like Roddy had the STABILITY, ironically.

Jake is simply a legend and still embarrassingly better than 99% of the WWE's current roster at cutting a believable promo. Vince needs to hire this guy to run some clinics for the no talent bums he has currently chewing up mic time.
Jake Roberts, master heel, and unbelievably, still one of the best!
