Even though I could care less about the actual rivalry, I wouldn't want to see the Big 12 split up with A&M going to the SEC and UT goin to the Pac-10. The Longhorns and Aggies need to either keep the Big 12 together or make a new conference altogether. Mabye an exclusivly Texas conference. The lineup could be UT, A&M, TCU, Houston, Rice, SMU, Baylor, and UTEP. It'd be like a brand new Southwest Conference.
