I thought the detroit rims were still present on all GTI models except the autobahn which have the serron rims...

No offense but i saw the serron rims on a 2012 gti and they looked alright but i think they look terrible on the gti. the rims look small and dull on that car in my opinion. I much rather have have the detroits, especially how they spin while in drive. I also have a 2012 gti with the 18" detroits in black and i couldnt be happier. VW all fkn day. If you runnin wit it run from it motherfucker..

looks beautiful man, i actually just bought a 20th AE gti from a guy in philly, but now im kinda jealous lol. the newer style gti's imo arnt as good looking as the mk4's, but i wouldnt complain if i was rockin yours ;)

@mrpink188 I believe those will be available with the 2012 Golf R being released in April (Canada). They couldn't add all the cosmetic enhancement to the GTI.
