This is a brief video for anyone considering creating a PTO Driven Power Washer. I purchased a Comet 4000psi 5.6gpm pump and welded a quick disconnect to the bottom of the tractor. The unloader valve is also a quick disconnect. It takes less then 1 minute to mount the pressure washer.

  • It will work on any tractor with a mid mount pto. You also have to be aware of what the rated speed on the mid mount is. On the John Deere's they are largely all the same. The rated pto speed is too fast for the pump though, which has a maximum RPM of around 1700. So on this tractor is unwise to bring the RPM's above 2100 when running pressure washer. It will put out 4000psi almost at idle. Without an unloader attached it will quickly clime to 5000psi at rated speed and wand attached.
