Hard Lessons, Janet Kanini Ikua goes into Mukuru Kayaba slums where the very basics continue to lack. Contaminated working environments and a shortage of resources is the norm. Due to lack of space within the slum areas, many proprietors have been forced to construct schools next to or above open sewers.

Anayezaa na anayemzalisha ni yao, pamoja wabebe!

  • That is a very good song! lol..

Maybe yu should sing it on YouTube and provide us a full translation. Go for it!

  • There is this song in Somali with a title called "Afrikaay hurudooy", it basically lays out the path that africa has taken ever since independence. The title means "sleeping africa". The song goes on to say that "while Africa sleeps scavengers are gathering above her, oh Africa that which is her own enemy, that which always goes against her interest but is willing to be taken advantage of , oh sleeping Africa". Anyways my point is the blame rests on the shoulder of African leaders.

  • Yes,if only everybody took care of their own e.g. fathers to these children were compelled by law to take care of their children, that would reduce stress for NGOs and single mothers! It takes two to tango, mothers need fathers to raise children.

  • Talk to UNICEF Kenya Office and demand they do something for these kids.

  • it can be heaven, please reach out to them

  • 'TheUsualSuspect' : In a soccer match the spectators have every right to critique the game because they paid high gate fees and majority are shareholders i.e. they own the club hence question the players skills!

EQUALLY most ntv commentators here are taxpayers n patriots and they expect these children to enjoy full government services.

Like you, they've a right to question whats going on!
