why do my cameras always seem to die of drowning? haha

but i jumped into nicks pool with it, and grabbed charlies phone.
then i set it down, threw charlies phone back at nick, went down and grabbed it and then i guess water got in.

the seals were old - it was only 5 feet down, its rated to be waterproof to ten feet.

  • ouch. was that expensive? on amazon theres a 2 year extended warranty for 20 bucks, for olympus cameras. but idk if its still on there ha.

  • I had mine fixed twice.

the first time it got a crack in it the second

time a big piece of dust in it.but both times they put new seals on it.

  • you're seals are probably still good. according to olympus, they recommend that you change them yearly, it costs around 108 dollars.

  • I have the same one but mine did not fill up with water.
