Saudi Arabia Did eid wrong 30 august 2011

Saudi, Salfi and deobandis UK did eid wrong and have had a fatwa from head dar uloom deoband against them.

Saudi government admitted there's been a mistake about the correct day of Id Al Fitr this year(2011). This occured due to misunderstanding of a particular phenomenon cause by planet Saturnus as before happened a couple of years ago caused by planet Mercurius. What it thought to be Hilal(new moon) is actually not. The Government gave order to the people and citizen of Saudi Kingdom to qodlo fasting day of one day because Ied Al-Fitr supposed to be on August 31/2011 and not on August 30/2011. As also there's news that Saudi Government will pay Kafarah money 1 Billion reyal for this mistake.

Saudi government's admittance of their mistake proves that they follow the moon. I think we should appreciate them. Admitting your mistake is a great manner, a great moral value, a great thing. It is not easy and not a small thing to admit your mistake. Saudi government tried to see the moon. They have announced that they will paying kaffara for their whole country. And they tell all other countries to follow their local moon, not to follow Saudi moon.

It's good practise to follow the moon all the way, not just at the start and at the end!

If you have been following the moon this year, you would have seen that Sha'aban's white days 13,14,15 (full moon) was correct, and so was the Ramadhan helal (cresent) inshAllah.

Follow the moon every month if you care (and this is how you know hijri calendar).

well i am not a wahabi (thank god) and i live in the UK and most people did their Eid on the 1st sept, what do you expect this goverment is controlling the civilians because the civilians are scared what is happening in libya will soon happen to saudi and at last there will be a proper sunni goverment the goverment and royal family over there thinks it is okay for them to go into nightclubs and drink and whatever but when women ask for rights and cinemas to be opened for children they say no
