  • @chinesepiano It is just about what Velver Underground means to us (Czech Republic citizens) because in 1889, we overthrow the communist totalism in our country.

    Because the citizens, unarmed, in peace, themself overthrow this regime, it is known world-wide as the Velvet Revolution.

  • It's interesting to see this now.

    It's hard to believe how much Central Europe has changed in the past 20 years, and how much progress it has made.

    Even for somebody in my generation, who was still too young to remember the Velvet Revolution, I find it's message of rebellion against oppression ever more inspiring today.

    I hope there will be more people like Vaclav Havel, who are willing to fight and persevere against a system that no longer works for it's people.
