that is a problem in deed, you should consider the kind I display in the video they are far more functional then the kind that clip. Any tailor can easily sew buttons onto your trousers so they can be worn, they won't pop off like the clip on do and will hold your pants perfectly at the waist.

@bowtieguy85 Sewing your own buttons onto your trousers is easy. I recommend using something like a condemned shirt. Something that's old and ripped and stained that nobody's ever going to use. Relieve it of its buttons (you'll need six buttons for this) and sew them onto the inside of your trousers waistband. It's free and it works great.
