Last night I had the sudden desire to go to a Regina Spektor concert. Just for the heck of it I looked online and so far as I could tell right at that moment she was performing a concert in NYC. Seeing as how I don't live anywhere near there, I obviously couldn't go. Since I was in the mood to listen to her though I checked for material on youtube and found an account with her material on it that looks like it was setup by her or her label (someone such as that). I appreciated having access to that and between contemplating the fact she was playing a gig while I was watching vids of her on youtube, I started working idly on a poem saying thank you. It's nothing great, The New Yorker wouldn't put it in a magazine, but I felt like sharing it. Just for the heck of it. So, here you are Regina, a poem put together last night on the fly with very little editing saying thank you for granting us the ability to see your material on youtube. Incidentally, I bought the Live in London album today :) Take care!
