ive had my katana II for 3 years now and have had 0 problems, its a very nice phone if you just want to talk and occasionally text

I still have this phone and works PERFECT I don't use it tho i have a blackberry :p But its still an awesome phone for bein that old :D

lol. these phones used to be the best back then. now we have touchscreen phones with 3 and 4g speeds and tons of apps. Amazing how fast technology evolves.

Yes i agree the samsung rant is terrible if u want a rant just buy a rumor 2 mii bro has it and he like abuses it and it still works perfaactly!! i am also lookiing at the samsung m300 and m320!

it always sucked when my butt would call people or add contacts that arent real. clamshell is much better if you move a lot, but an open face phone like the rant would be great for business work. but a blackberry curve or palm pre would be much better to have.
the rant sucks.
i had mine for about 3 months and it broke; im always very responsible with my phones, so it didnt break due to neglect.

You don't need to "hold the phone to your face" when you talk on it.
This phone is set up the same as the Razr, where the antenna is at the bottom. Obstructing it will cause calls to drop, and signal to decrease.
But honestly, if you're not retarded, this isn't a problem at all with the phone.
