My cousin was Major General George Henry Thomas and his men lead a charge at the battle of Mill Springs.

This was an awesome event. I was confederate. It was cold campaigning.

damn union won that battle too no damn wonder people think the good people of kentucky were yanks hell fare boys every state has a population of idiots, apparently ours in 1861 liked the color blue

That was quite an impressive reenactment. I never seen so many Yank cavalry. Please post some more! I'd like to see the Rebel charge down that hill!

Just a follow-up to my previous reply. I received the latest Civil War Historian magazine today. There is an article about the Mill Springs reenactment, complete with pictures. This is the Jan/Feb 2008 issue.

this is only a guess but try Civil War Historian magazine. They often have reenactment articles and have had advertisements for this event for two or three issues. At least they might give you a name or two. Good luck.
