@skrimpshidy ...and that is the definition of punk.

Look at all the punk uniforms.

oi! to the punx and skins!

@goggles763 Yep, what other youth movement has there ever been where you could raid your dad's shirt drawer? I just had the hair cropped down, couldn't afford a dyed mohawk if I'd wanted one, and my jeans had holes in em anyway. You'd top that with like u said, donkey jacket or even the old school blazer with badges from the gigs and you were there. Within a year it was all the 'sid' look, it had become another mainstream fashion, farmed out and sold off. Great days though.

@London2272 I was there as well in them days at the Roxy, Vortex ect. I was an older looking 14 year old with my indian ink D.I.Y. tattoo's and Dads donkey jacket ha! Great days, 1977 was the year it all started for me and I've never looked back and regretted anything I was then to the present day.

@pukedragon There's similarities, both are hostile to Capitalism for the same reasons. It could be argued that Anarchism is Communism in the purest form, that in which it was conceived, but in practice you get arse clowns like Stalin fucking you over so Anarchists argue for leaderless socialism, self-rule, total equality, total democracy.
I was there in London, Roxy, Vortex etc when punk started. We didn't give a fuck about all that. Poncey middleclass students did. They had mohawks and money.

Pogo's with the punk?? Did anyone else catch that?? o.O
-
Holy shit it is troll! Hahahaha

yeap, many punks in the west, especially the kinderpunks, think that Anarchy and Communism are synonyms... ask the punks from the ex-eastern block ( but not kinderpunks), and they'll tell you about Jarocin Festival. many those days punk bands were neither right, left or whatever. the fucked Ecology, anarchy, fascism, socialism, liberalism, political correctness, human rights, religions, gay rights, war and world peace.

to me communism and anarchy are complete polar opposites. Communism is government control over all aspects of your life. Anarchy is no government at all.
what is a kinderpunk?

in a perfect communist nation there would be no government and therefore anarchy. But no communist state in history has ever archived this, they always end up as proletariat Dictatorships which are the totalitarian governments you are referencing. Proletariat Dictatorships are the opposites of anarchy, but communism in its true form is not.

communism as karl marx told is is a fairy tale. any attempt at communism will turn into a stalin/mao dictatorship. Therefor communists and fascists are identical, they just don't know it.

proletariat dictatorships and fascism are on opposite ends of the political spectrum, but what they share its that they are the authoritarian extreme of their side

what do you think that Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot did that was different than what Hitler did? One controls society so it can control the economy, the other controls the economy so it can control the society. There is no difference. The only difference is Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot never got their nerumburg trial. Someone should have hung all those communist bastards after a trial showing their monsterous actions. 200 million people killed by Big Government in only 1 century. Not enough?
