the single 'Hiccups' by Jinja Safari

I don't own this song nor do I claim to. I am a mere college student, not a band or a record company.

  • this song makes me smile

  • Did a poo to this song, looked out my window down to the lights of my suburb and the patches of light sky behind the clouds and there was a small breeze and i could hear the ocean and smell a fire in the distance. Was a good poo.

  • Thumbs up if you came here from the "sunday best" surfing video...

  • Hopefully they are better informed about Uganda and Africa now than they were before, because, as an African, it makes me feel a little guilty to listen to and enjoy their music with the knowledge that they might be a bit ignorant about Africa. I know I shouldn't be taking this so personally, but I can't help it :( I can't stand the perfunctory use/exploitation of other people's cultures...

  • @joeywalsh730 "I grew up in Tasmania and my grandmother lives in Uganda, in the town of Jinja - so for some reason I always felt the connection to the music of Africa, and how, despite the oppressions of countless dictatorships, genocide and apartheid, the people of Africa always found a way to smash a drum, yelling with a giant smile, dancing barefoot in the dirt." - Marcus Azon (Jinja Safari)
