Just a terrific scene. I don't know what else to say. Great acting by Robin Williams. You call actually feel what he is saying.

A little background: Matt Damon sees a painting in Robin Williams office, who plays his psychiatrist, and assumes he knows everything about him by just looking at it. Needless to say, Robin Williams is pissed, and this is their next meeting.

  • Its kinda sad that we once had movies with a meaning, with something important to say, now we have movies like twilight and clash of the titans. I rate this movie as the second best movie of all time.

    1. The Shawshank redemption, about getting past the obstacles that life throws at us.

    2. Good Will hunting, about finding the meaning and goodness in our life.

    3. Forrest Gump, about how me must show each other respect, care about each other so we can live in a world were we are truly happy.

  • this is what i think about when someone pulls out a smart phone and think they know the answer to everything.

there is a whole world out there and you need to feel it, not read about it.

  • And here's your Oscar, Mr. Williams, well done.

  • It burned my soul, every word lingering like a kiss. Or maybe a curse.

  • checkmate, Will Hunting!

  • @SebbeGrishater Did i say you were stupid? Inception was fantastic, the Dark Knight, Midnight in Paris, The artist, The Decendants, and moneyball are all fantastic movies.

  • @XXActionJackson So because I think that the movies from the 90's are better than movies of today, i am in some way stupid? Respect others opinions. I Haven't seen the same level of depth in the movies from the 21th century.

  • @SebbeGrishater Don't even pull that.. the "movies of today" are shit, because they're was plenty of shitty movies in '97 as they're is today.

  • @masht11 Definitely. I'm a late teen (19) and I used to be cocky and gung ho. Don't tell your elders to suck eggs, as they say.

  • I love what Robin Williams says, it really speaks to me and it should to every else out there too.

[I keep this quote on a sticky note on my desktop, cause i love it so much(:]

  • @masht11 *effect, stay in school.
