Money,taxes and money, thats why.... If everybody using this, there's no revenue for the government.... simple.. so u wont see this car for say another 100 years unless a revolution happens......

@nezpercenathan another good point:  electric cars are not for everyone. (we use my gf's car or a rental car for rare trips outside my EV range)

@sockosockosocko This, to me, is the problem, with any pure electric. My nearest relatives live 250 miles from me, so that would be a 3 day run each way, IF I don't encounter headwinds, don't try to carry much payload, etc. I have always planned 400 mile days for vacations, which almost always involve some mountains, extra luggage, etc. When electrics get up to 400 miles per charge, even under less than ideal conditions, I will certainly want one.
