No Touch Competition

Overview:
1.) The no-touch wall will be constructed from a 2" x 4" wood stud painted white.
2.) The 2x4 will be placed on its narrow edge with the 4" side creating the wall.
3.) The wall will be 7' in length.
4.) Starting position will be a random distance picked on the day of the competition between 4' and 7' from the wall.
5.) Contestants may line up the robots in any desired orientation behind the start line.

Rules:
1.) Robots will be given 1 attempt to complete the course.
2.) Robots must approach the wall and stop before touching the wall.
3.) Robots will be scored based on the shortest distance between the robot and the wall.
4.) Robots will be disqualified if any part of the robot touches the wall.
