To install trizen run in terminal:
su -c "git clone git://github.com/trizen/trizen.git; cd trizen/; cp trizen /usr/bin/trizen; chmod 755 /usr/bin/trizen; cd ..; rm -rf trizen/; echo Installed"

To install packer run in terminal:
su -c "git clone git://github.com/bruenig/packer.git; cd packer/; cp packer /usr/bin/packer; chmod 755 /usr/bin/packer; cd ..; rm -rf packer/; echo Installed."


After install, view 'trizen -h' or 'packer -h'

  • Clyde is way better, so is bauerbill. pacman -S clyde or pacman -S bauerbill

  • @xxSwAmPxx Yeah i have been meaning to try it. I like trying out all the different wrappers :). I know powerpill is not a user repository tool but I also love powerpill for big downloads, like xorg.
