Senior Abigail Duffy, a biology and philosophy major, shares the impact of the corporation's investment. She has undertaken research as part of Professor Michael Shiaris' studies on E-coli bacteria which are providing important knowledge for the food industry.

  • Great to know about the program and see Umass/Boston making progress.

    The biology program has always been a good one at UMass.

    Great to hear and see Dr. Shiaris!

    I also worked in Mike's lab for a brief time. Man, that brings back some memories.

    Hope Dr. Campbell, Dr. Ackerman, Dr. Sugumaran and all other 'great' faculty of Umass/Boston is doing well. :)
