If and I hope not the Komodo dies out ill be glad that the Crocodile Monitor takes its place as the worlds longest/largest monitor lizard. I really hope in the future Komodos can finally find the peace they want besides being hunted... long live komodos...

@spinozilla97 Did I say that people don't? My uncle has kept several. I was referencing to this species specifically. I am an avid animal keeper and love reptiles. But that doesn't change the fact that they're still wild animals and can eat your arm off if they so choose.

Very easy to work with? Yeah. I'd like to see him "work with" that monitor. Those things are vicious creatures and are extremely hard to keep in captivity.

@krazylacrosse19 well that one looks like it a part of a system of other enclosures buy you can build a suitable enclose for a croc monitor for a few hundred dollars, including heat
