Parent Upset Over Video Shown at Pulaski County High School
School officails say the video that shows graphic violence was shown as part of a lesson on 9/11, but one parent says it shows too much.

Its nothing but hate against Muslims and Muslim people.

Thats how Bill Cruey of Somerset took the 15 minute Fitna video that he says his daughter watched on September 11th in an Advanced Placement class at Pulaski County High School.

The premise wasthis is why 9-11 happened because of the Muslims, he said.

The video shows beheadings, children being injured, and dead bodies. Those violent acts are edited in between passages of the Koran. Cruey says his daughter hasn't been the same

My daughter was very upsetat first she was upset at Muslims, then we told her that the Muslim religion is a very loving religion, Cruey said.

Pulaski County School officials say while the teachers instructional ideas were sincere, the choice of this particular video was not appropriate.

School officials are not saying if any action was taken against the teacher..as it was handled as a personnel issue.

Cruey says there needs to be more communication on the matter.

A letter be sent home to parents, explaning what was shown, that it wasn't right, he said.

In the meantime, he says his daughter is receiving counseling, and was taken out of the class that was shown the video.
