@HULLOHULLO15 All tissues of an organism come to be from specific cells that exist in an embryo.

For example all tissues and organs (nerves,bones,hands,legs,teeth etc) in humans come from 3 layers of cells in an embryo.These layers appear at about the 3rd week and are named : exoderm,mesoderm and endoderm.The cells composing these layers have high differential abilities and thus are able to create diverse tissues.Mutations in these cells cause changes (and sometimes major changes) in tissues.

when you say T-rex head size is inversely prop. to hands size, is that just an hypothesis made to explain why they have small hands, or is there any actual relative of T-rex, whose genome has been sequenced, and this gene affecting both traits was found?
