This was the very first time i ever heard Let the bright seraphim and it has remained one of my all time favourite, Inger's version is stil one of my faves.

She was 29 when she won this and sang this showing a maturity beyond her years.
She is a wonderful Handelian and has had a great career and has years ahead of her.

@lisolisao I understand where you are coming from, but I love the color of this voice so much more. What I do not understand is how people are so stubborn and always place a high importance/precedence on the previous generation of singers. They are both just as capable and gifted.

no fue una de las mejores ... mira la forma como Sutherland canta la misma aria... y vas a ver que ella si es una gloria.. mira la forma como alcanza las notas en la misma parte..... un espertáculo.. ninguna cantó esta ária como Sutherland.... que te parece?

I love the change in vibrato speed at the 4:50 mark. It might have been a trill of sorts.
Danke achön für dieses positive Bewehrtung, dass ich völlig zustimme. Ich finde es dazu besonders bemerkungwehrt, das sie keine Schaunummer wie bzw ein hohes "d" am Ende des Vorführungs nötig findet.

yes, it's tiny, but it sounds very well. It Could be the music is written for a trunpet like that?
