I love her control here. Intense & passionate. The short hair suits her best than the long one. I do believe than she was thinner here than recent years & looks better - not than she looks bad but she was magnificient here.. very beautiful.

@getrealandsee False. Michelle Kwan won and DESERVED this National title! Medicore? This program and performance WAS superior to ALL of the other ladies there at that event. Kwan landed SIX perfect triples with a GREAT 3/3. Most of your posts are really lame.

@getrealandsee. Michelle Kwan had the best performance that night. She landed the most clean triples and her great program was head and shoulders above the rest. She deserved all of her National titles (she never won a World or National title with less than 5 clean triples). She did fall but she had 6 perfect triples and a beautiful 3/3. She also skated with speed. A 5.8 for tech is about right for this performance. Your opinions about Kwan "not respecting herself and Nationals" is ludicrous.

I wasn't crazy about the music for this program, but no surprise - most of the best skaters have at least one music selection in their careers that leaves you a little underwhelmed.

As for the fall - the judges responded to Michelle's reaction. Clean prior to the fall and clean after. They gave close to what they would have for a flawless skate, but not quite. If other skaters did not make their case on the ice, that's not Michelle's fault.

And her hair was pretty, long or short.

@getrealandsee What in the hell are you talking about? EVERYONE at this Nationals made mistakes! Kwan DID have the best program and skate of the night. Six clean triples with a GREAT triple-triple. Inflated? 5.8s and 5.7s for techinal and 5.9s for artistic were correct. Grow the hell up! You're acting like child.
