Payden McVey and violent collision with referee!! DPHS number 88 goes deep for a long pass to try and save the game but the referee is in exactly the wrong position and gets creamed as McVey focuses on the ball. Payden now plays for Lamar University (2011).

@TheSenorJynx / The player had his shoulder wrapped due to a previous injury (separation and small rc tear). It was a pesky, "playable" injury, but was very painful (if you've ever injured a shoulder you know how painful it can be). Since it was his Sr yr he was determined to play & try for scholarship (he did-full ride). Honored as 1 of the 10 best offensive players by Houston-area TD Club. Had post-season shoulder surgery & just completed first yr of college football...started every game.
