Yogi- Newfoundland in rescue

Yogi Bear is a black 2-year-old Newfoundland that is with the Great Dane Rescue in Austin. He was going to be euthanized because he was overly protective over his owner and his home. Luckily his trainer at the doggie day care that he goes to every day, contacted us, so he is now in our rescue. The Newfoundland rescue Club refused to take him because his "aggression". That is too bad. But not to worry. Yogi is safe and he will be adopted out to a new home. We just need to find him the right home with an experienced owner who could work with him to address his protective tendencies.
