HOUSTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE SOUTHEAST ART GALLERY IN HOUSTON TEXAS. 2011.presented and recognized the artwork by Jesus Moro'n during the earthday celebration of Madre Tierra. Jesus's exhibiton was organized by HCC'S Mexican-American Latino Studies and MALSA.
Dr, Grisel Gomez Cano is a leader in promoting Hispanic American art and Literature owner of Tlacuilo book services, She also is a prominent writer a goddes, heroine and warladie defender of Hispanic American CHICANO Culture in USA in this video she act's as the moderator of the event TLACUILO TOLTEC ART EXHIBITH by JESUS MORO'N as part of Earthday Celebration bringing the importance of Mother Earth since the prehispanic era. including the toltec culture as the ancient Tlacuilo's painting techniques presented in a workshop by Jesus Moro'n.
at the end of this video you will find few PORTABLE FRESCOES by the artist presented in the HCC Art Gallery. Jesus is the creator of portable Frescoes done in the ancient way using the prehispanic painting techniques invented by the Toltec Tlacuiloes. Masters of that ancient civilization located in Tula, Hidalgo. Mexico.
JESUSMORO'N won 4th place award in painting in a national competition in Mexico's 1981.
Jesus has his paintings in several museums in the Americas and Europe , United Kingdom , London and Spain. Lately an art museum was named in his name in Coahuila, Mexico.
*TLACUILO is the title as today's Master of Fine Arts.
*TLTECAYOTL means Visual Arts.(Toltequidad.) in the world of ancient Toltecs.
