The Origin of Genes

The human genome contains some 25,000 genes. Where did they come from? How are new genes formed?

Before continuing with the Origins Series and The Origin of Cognition, I wanted to take a step back and fill in some holes I left. Other topic I'm considering are: The Origin of The Krebs Cycle, and The Origin of Eukaryotes.

Arguing with religious people? Don´t. It is like throw diamonds to the pigs.

I´ve been doing it for nearly 2 years and saw no progress because of their narrow mindedness. I tried doing it for the sake of humanity.

My advise, just leave them alone to rot in their own ignorance.

@pbodymathis cont.3.. I cannot say. It could be in a spirit that you sense or in a dream. It could be in meeting people. God's love for you is very patient, forgiving, and very slow to anger. If you are SINCERE about knowing that there is a God, then do this everyday. Oh and one other thing, do this in Jesus Christ's name. He is the one who bore your sins on a cross and paid with HIs life for you to have the chance for God to hear your prayers. I pray to God that you do this.

@pbodymathis Okay, that falls under the category of having other explanations besides god. If you think about listening to god, you will hear a voice that your mind makes up. If you think you're going to sit and listen to god, then your mind will trick you. Its like when you think about itching, you start to itch. Also, why do the 2000+ religions claim the same thing? Does he talk to everybody? Even the suicide bombers? And why doesn't god tell everybody to be christian? So many logic errors...

@pbodymathis cont 2... Ask God to come into your heart and change you so that you can see Him. If you are sincere, honest, and humble when you say these little prayers to God, He will listen. When will He reveal Himself to you? I cannot say. It could be that instant, that day, within a week, a month, or a year. It all depends on your sincerity in getting to know Him. Remember, He knows your motives and knows your heart. Do this everyday as long as it takes. How will God reveal Himself?

@anarki1211 To prove God is real? Easy, just go to a quiet place by yourself and humble yourself on your knees and be quiet. Softly speak to Him by first telling him that you do not believe in Him but would like to know if what this idiot on YT is saying about Him is true.  You have to be very sincere cause God knows your motives and your heart!
