THIS IS HOW YOU COULD DO IT, EASILY. A fixed camera records Derren, Live - this camera remains still (Important). This feed is put through a computer and fed onto a second screen. This screen is filmed all shaky, so it looks 'unedited'. This is the feed that is broadcast. As someone has already said, the left side of the screen is paused (with the editing computer, using the still and therefore easily edited footage), man changes balls, side is unfrozen, Derren walks on reveals balls, TA-DA!

its the oldest trick in the book!!! very simple all it is is a duplicate image mask over where the balls are someone then comes in switches balls and the also but a fake shake on the camera from the still shot zoomed in and motion shaked all very easy to do especially for the bbc!!! this is defo how it is done if it wall real would not have had balls to left of screen hope that clears it all up ;)

I love the 'BBC has the legal right to announce the lottery numbers first' rubbish. Given that the numbers weren't a complete set or the confirmed results he could have announed his prediction. Clearly the balls didn't have those numbers on before the result was announced...haven't said that I haven't seen the explanation of how he did it.

its all rubbish! its a split screen between the balls and the tv. its then paused when the lottery balls come out! then the correct balls are put down! look at the end ball on the left its higher at the end!!!!!
