My new XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 graphics card has a strange problem out of the box. The card is not overheating as it rarely even gets to 65C while running max settings. But this is what the 3D effects look like on WoW as well as my other games.

  • Thanks for the feedback. It turns out that the problem was more likely what acidspoodie described. I sent the card back and got a replacement, now all of my games are running smooth and clean.

  • Artefacts, send the card back to the shop where you bought it.. this cannot be fixed with drivers =/

  • Have the same problem here!

  • Mine just stated doing this as well!!

  • I still have a 5770, not a great card but it can play wow on high/ultra with 60 fps so it gets the job done.

  • @D4NG3R03S That's not true. Artifacts are caused by either driver issues, too high clocks or too little voltage supplied to the GPU, the game itself.

  • I tried unscrewing the graphics card from my computer and I used a brush to clean the dust out of the ventilator and it worked for me:) good luck

  • That only happens to me when I OC my gpu.

  • yeah its definitly something wrong with the actual card, the 5770 can easily run wow high settings.

  • @fernan2fbp025 stfu noob WoW is not a bad game go play urs gay black ops

  • @silverhaze3d buddy, thats actually world of warcraft, that happened to me when i was with the 9500GT and the 5770, so its not the graphics card, its the game itself, theres an issue if its installed wrong

  • Try changing clock settings to default ;)
