@froggyXIII Yes. currently, Our Hornet can only fire gun, unguided rockets and launch unguided bomb. We can also simulate smart weapons but we won't be able to mount those weapons. What i mean is, we can physically mount those weapons, but the Fire control system on our Hornet will not be able to interface with it. Not until US release the codes that enable those weapons on our F/A-18. You can thank Lee Kuan Yew for this. it's at his request.

@tunguska2m The source code for F/A-18 was kept from us by United States. Without it, F/A-18 are only fit for an airshow. right now we can only defend ourselves only with US approval.

ya i agree with you too but all equipment at that aircraft has been limited source code has been locked by USAF .

SU-30MKM is not a legend,
so selling the mig is actually a big mistake.....
The Malaysian goverment should use those aircraft to make an aerobatic team n should name the team Malaysian Aerobatics Team
