Roberto Alagna, as Manrico, the Troubadour/Outlaw, is singing of his lonely life, imploring Sondra Radvanovsky as Leonora, to "love the Troubadour". The Count di Luna, of course, has other plans. Leonora comes down the stairs and at first mistakes the Count for Manrico, and then angers
him by running to Manrico's side. Manrico sings while fighting off many of the Count's minions, and appears to be wounded by the Count at the end of the scene. Trio with Lado Ataneli as the Count. Paris, 2003.
