the 4 way street version is the best.

Love both versions. Jefferson Airplane's and this one. <3

I do think Grace Slick fits this song better, I do prefer the Jefferson Airplane version over this, but this is nice

@theladywriter So what he is a fucking genius and not sure who would be better.

David Crosby was at my gig last Friday night (28/10/11) at the Hard Day's Night Hotel in Liverpool. How cool is that people?
He and his partner came across as a nice couple. Told me he didn't regret a single thing he ever did. Good luck to him.

Love all the versions of this song but Jefferson Airplane has it for me I think.

@ashoftomorrow sounds good but knowing what we know of Crosby it was probably all about having sex with two women at the same time...let's not kid ourselves...

Crosby..yes there are tons of songwriters..Newman, Nilsson, Taylor, King, Wilson all with their own sound........but only Crosby wrote Page 43 and Carry Me. Two of the finest songs ever created

@MasterKief69 no this song is about a triad. threesome= sex. triad=love.
He just always impressed me as a disingenuous person, a narcissist. Heard a lot of singers/songwriters that were just as good, if not better.

@theladywriter he is definitely a reprobate (and he probably wouldn't contradict that term) , but crosby at his best is sublime .
