Wednesday: Presently Tense

PLEASE TURN THE SOUND UP! There was massive fail on the part of my laptop's microphone...

It's writing week once more and this time we're talk about tense. My favourite? First tense, without a doubt.

There's also double the rash promise of last week.

To help you out with hearing what I'm saying:
* I mention failing to write anything due to the distraction of the Melbourne Writers Festival, where I saw a couple of sessions with Isobelle Carmody and wanted to see more with China Miéville.
* Then we talk about tense (and I apologise for not having watch the previous writing week videos due to unpacking and meeting up with internet people).
* Future tense: I think it would be a challenge to write.
* Past tense: everyone does it.
* Present tense: my favourite, because it's immediate and it's a challenge to avoid letting it sound like the directions in a script.
* I promise two hundred words next week, which may come from an old story I was reading last night.
